Unpacking barriers, realizing enablers & exploring solutions

The Inclusive Education Initiative, in partnership with the University of Cambridge, University of Gondar, and Kathmandu University is hosting a workshop series which will bring researchers and academics from Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia together and provide a platform to share perspectives on the disability-inclusive education research priorities in their regions. The workshop series will: 

  • Identify the research priorities in the field of disability-inclusive education and their potential contributions.
  • Understand the challenges faced by the Southern scholars while researching and publishing on disability-inclusive education.
  • Promote the visibility of Southern scholarship.  
  • Promote collaboration and build alliances amongst universities in the Sub-Saharan African and South Asian Regions.
