RESEARCHING DISABILITY-INCLUSIVE EDUCATION IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA AND SOUTH ASIA:
Unpacking barriers, realizing enablers & exploring solutions
The Inclusive Education Initiative, in partnership with the University of Cambridge, University of Gondar, and Kathmandu University is hosting a workshop series which will bring researchers and academics from Sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia together and provide a platform to share perspectives on the disability-inclusive education research priorities in their regions. The workshop series will:
- Identify the research priorities in the field of disability-inclusive education and their potential contributions.
- Understand the challenges faced by the Southern scholars while researching and publishing on disability-inclusive education.
- Promote the visibility of Southern scholarship.
- Promote collaboration and build alliances amongst universities in the Sub-Saharan African and South Asian Regions.
